Dataset Description

This dataset contains the different acceleration, displacement, inclinometer, gyrometer, strain gauges results recorded during the Double-Damp test campaign where two Reinforced Concrete (RC) specimens were tested on the 6x6m2 Azalée shaking table at CEA/TAMARIS experimental platform. Two datasets are uploaded for the two RC specimens tested during the project, with and without the damping devices.

Specimens

1. RC specimen without damping device

1

A first RC specimen without damping device was tested on the 6x6m Azalée shaking table. The RC frame was instrumented with 143 sensors including accelerometers, displacement sensors, inclinometers, gyrometers and strain gauges acquired at sample frequency of 1024Hz and anti-aliasing filters with 150Hz cutoff frequency.

1. Test campaign (33 runs) on specimen 1 : without DD

This test sequence is composed of an alternation of broad-band low-level random tests and seismic ground motions of increasing level. Total number of Runs is 33 ranging from 20% to 100% seismic demand.

Instrumentation

Instrumentation contains 143 channels acquired at 1024Hz with anti-aliasing filters of 150Hz cutoff frequency. Full instrumentation details are given in the previous section.

2. RC specimen equipped with damping device

1

A second RC specimen equipped with four damping devices was tested on the 6x6m Azalée shaking table. The RC frame was instrumented with 155 sensors including accelerometers, displacement sensors, inclinometers, gyrometers, strain gauges and also 8 instrumented bolts on the damping devices, acquired at sample frequency of 1024Hz and anti-aliasing filters with 150Hz cutoff frequency.

1. Test campaign (43 runs) on specimen 2 : with DDs

This test sequence is composed of an alternation of broad-band low-level random tests and seismic ground motions of increasing level. This test sequence is composed of an alternation of broad-band low-level random tests and seismic ground motions of increasing level. Total number of Runs is 43 ranging from 20% to 160% seismic demand. Bolt joints between tiles and beams have been tightened after run 57 and untightened after run 74.
