Welcome to the Dataaccessportal

The dataaccessportal.eu provides open access to Metadata Datasets for Experimental Data collected in the framework of the ERIES project or other similar projects. The actual Experimental Data are stored in other repositories such as Zenodo.

The ERIES project provides access to leading experimental facilities in the disciplines of earthquake and wind engineering, and builds upon successful past projects SERIES and SERA.

How to use the Data Access Portal

The dataaccessportal.eu provides direct access to Metadata Datasets only. Actual Experimental Data are not stored on this portal, but they are linked to a FAIR Data Repository where the actual data is stored. As of this time, Zenodo is the preferred Data Repository.

All Metadata Datasets are published under the CC BY 4.0 license. Users can download and use the Metadata Datasets for their own purposes, but they must provide proper attribution to the authors of the Metadata Datasets .

Users can explore the published Metadata Datasets through the front-page of dataaccessportal.eu. The front-page provides a search bar where users can search for datasets by entering keywords and filter the results by Category and Focus Area.

Each Metadata Datasets provides information about the Experimental Data, such as the title, description, keywords, authors, publication date, specimens, experiments etc. The Metadata Datasets also provides a link to the actual Data Repository where the data is stored. Users can download each Metadata Datasets as a compressed zip file.
