Data Access Portal
The Data Access Portal provides public access to metadata and data of experiments (tests) in the structural and wind engineering domains.
Authenticated users have the permission to also upload data about their experiments.

Personal data processed and the legal basis for processing
A. Personal data retrieved from your Home Organisation:
- your unique user identifier (OpenID persistent identifier) *
- your email (used for authenticating via EGI's CheckIn service) *
- your role in your Home Organisation (eduPersonEntitlement Attribute) *
- your role within the scope the Data Access Portal (voperson_external_affiliation Attribute) *
- your Identity Assurance (eduPersonAssurance Attribute), distinguishing between following types:
- Low: Authentication through a social identity provider or other low identity assurance provider: https://aai.egi.eu/LoA#Low
- Substantial: Password/X.509 authentication at the user's home IdP: https://aai.egi.eu/LoA#Substantial

B. Personal data you have provided or may be generated as a result of your use of our service:
- No personal data are logged as a result of using this service.
* The personal data is necessary for providing the service that the end user has requested. Other personal data is processed because you have consented to it.
Purpose of the processing of personal data
Your personal data is used
- to authorize your access to and use of the resources we provide;
- to properly account your use to relevant infrastructure funding bodies;
- to ensure the integrity and availability of our service
Third parties to whom personal data is disclosed
We may share your personal data with third parties (or otherwise allow them access to it) in the following cases:
(a) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena or governmental request
(b) to enforce this Privacy Notice, including investigation of potential violations thereof;
Your personal data may be accessible by others users and by the public (e.g. a text in the project's publicly available metadata may state "This page was last edited by [first name] [last name] ...".)
In the case where a third party is located in a country whose data protection laws are not as comprehensive as those of the countries within the European Union we will take appropriate steps to ensure that transfers of your personal data are still protected in line with European standards.
You have a right to contact us for more information about the safeguards we have put in place to ensure the adequate protection of your personal data when this is transferred as mentioned above.

Data portability
You have a right to request an export of your personal data by contacting the contact person above.
Data retention
Personal data is deleted on request of the user or if the user hasn't used the Services for 18 months. This excludes data that are necessary for the functioning of this service. Such data is the name and surname of the person who creates or edits a project. This data is visible only to other members of the same organization and only visible if they are authenticated.
